Detective Henry V. Crudale – Cranston Police

     It is with profound sadness we announce the passing of Detective Henry V. Crudale who passed away on May 28, 1997 after a short illness.  He was the son of Laura (DiMuccio) Crudale and the late Henry A. Crudale.A graduate of Cranston High School in 1960, he joined the Cranston Police Department on September 8, 1965 and retired on June 28, 1996 after completing 31 years of dedicated service to the department.  Henry was also a Magna Cum Laude graduate of Bryant College where he received a Bachelors degree of Science in Law Enforcement.  He was an active member of the I.B.P.O., the Cranston Police Relief Association, and former member of the Elks Lodge of Johnston.  He also served in the RI Army National Guard and was a member of the State Investigative Unit during the Credit Union crisis from 1991-1992.  Besides his wife Beverly (Mitchell) Crudale, he is survived by his loving children, Henry J. and Bethany Liberatore of Cranston and two grandchildren; and a sister, Betty Jane DiSanto.  He is also the brother to the late James Crudale.  He will be greatly missed by all.
