Detective Rocco Mariorenzi – Cranston Police

     Detective Rocco Mariorenzi served the citizens of Cranston for 34 years before retiring in 1988.  He was the first officer to use a “voice print” as evidence in a police case.  He was an Army veteran of the Korean War.

     He passed away on May 22, 1996 at the age of 66, and is buried in Swan Point Cemetery in Providence. 

     Rest in  peace.
