Officer Russell M. Trant

It is with deep sadness that we inform you of the passing of Patrolman Russell M. Trant. Russ who died on Friday June 2, 2005. Born in Cranston, a son of the late D. Mark and Rose W. (Jayes) Trant, he was a lifelong resident of Cranston. Russ was born on December 25, 1917. He joined the Cranston Police Department on October 20, 1941 and retired on October 20, 1966. His wife Eleanor M. passed away just one week after Russ. Rest in Peace.
