Patrolman Edward H. Barker is known to have been serving on the Cranston Police Department in 1938, and is known to have still been a member of the department in 1947. No further information is known at this time.
Patrolman Erwin H. Wilbur was appointed to the Cranston Police Department on October 20, 1939. He is known to have still been a member of the department in 1944. No further information is known at this time.
Patrolman George E. Smith was first appointed a police constable in 1905. When Cranston incorporated as a city in June of 1910, and formally established a permanent police department under city ordinance, Smith was one of the original ten permanent officers appointed to the force.
